Yes if you have extra money to spend on this appliance AND a nutribullet is also wonderful and more cost effective! If you enjoy cooking healthy and do not have time to stay in your kitchen all day this little appliance could be a game changer. Certain brands of pre-packaged baby food have been reported to have contamination issues recently. You can try tossing nutrient packed fresh ingredients into your high powered blender and store homemade baby food in your freezer, I used a silicone ice cube tray to portion out 1 oz portions. I use my high speed blender now daily for smoothies, weekly for soups, homemade muffins + sweets, + when I have extra time, homemade nut "milks".
A high speed mixer can whip up homemade cashew or almond milk in 1 minute, endless recipes of hot soups, yes it actually heats it up! I also put cooked ground turkey with cooked carrots and celery to make add to spaghetti sauce for hidden nutrients, no one can decipher there's veggies in it!

I am fairly certain there is nothing out there that these two blenders can not pulverize.
